The vice president’s visit to Mother and Child Center of Rebirth NGO

The vice president visited “Khaneh Parvin” as the comprehensive drug addiction rehabilitation center for mothers, children and pregnant women.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Mohammad Mokhbar the vice president, visited drug addiction treatment center for pregnant women and mothers with children recovering from substance use in July 2022.

He visited this rehabilitation center in southeast of Tehran including its production workshops, medical center, dormitories and kindergarten.

While staying in this complex for several hours, he was closely informed about the issues and problems of the center and issued the necessary orders to improve and develop its services.

Khaneh Parvin is one of the centers of Rebirth Society NGO which is recognized as the first and only substance use disorders treatment center for pregnant mothers in Iran which has admitted dozens of mothers with their children who suffer from substance use disorders.

Admission at this center is voluntary and it is considered as one of the substance use treatment centers in Iran following up the issues of mothers with substance use disorders even after recovery.
