Rebirth started non-profit charity activities in 2009 with Afghan refugees and by obtaining the license of Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs (BAFIA) in Islamic Republic of Iran has done its best to empower refugee’s livelihood, improve their physical and mental health status and hold educational and vocational training courses. In recent years, Rebirth has implemented successful projects with the cooperation of UNHCR (Iran), the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Relief International (RI), and other international donors. Some of the most important activities of the Refugee department in recent years are:
- Prevention of social harm among vulnerable Afghan refugees – 2009 -2022
- Increasing Economic Resilience of Afghan Refugee Communities in Tehran Province 2020-2022
- Providing vocational training and livelihood improvement services for vulnerable Afghan refugee women and children in Tehran 2022
